German violin made in apprxoimately 1930. This violin from Saxony has a bright and clear sound, it is a handmade violin that was crafted approx. 1930 by an unknown violin maker in Germany. The successful interpretation of the tradition Jacobus Stainer model features characteristically styled ff-holes and high archings in the middle of the top and the back. Low ribs and the two-piece back are the clear work of an experienced hand, a true piece of good craftsmanship that is perfectly preserved and was made ready to play by our luthiers, who completely worked over the violin. It features a light-brown colored varnish with tasteful and expertly made antique touches, some varnish flaws but no cracks, and a convincing sound that is bright, clear, and rich in overtones.
