Old German violin after Antonio Stradivari - beautifully sounding

Old violin from Markneukirchen in Germany, a piece of shining beauty that was built approx. 1930 in the well-known German violin making town of Markneukirchen. It is an example for the flat arched instruments, that were designed after successful Stradivari patterns and were highly sought-after internationally. Violin makers in Saxony managed to convince many musicians especially in the U.S. with these quality violins at quite economical rates. The violin top features a flat arching and was crafted of beautiful, medium grained spruce with interesting grains. Just as the eye-catchingly beautiful back and ribs with its interesting texture, it is decorated by a very transparent, golden-brown colored varnish with signs of age and patina. The purfling represents the quality of this undamaged instrument, that has developed patina and features some traces of use, according to its age. It was worked over thoroughly and professionally in our workshop and is offered ready to play. The convincing, warm and large sound of the violin unfolds with a bright character and bears some sweet notes in the upper ranges.
