Gorgeous and powerful Markneukirchen violin after Guarneri preserved in perfect condition
This old Markneukirchen violin based on a Guarneri del Gesù violin model was made in 1940 in a smaller family master workshop - the quality exceeds by far the quality of manufactured instruments. The model features a relatively slim neck and makes this violin very comfortable to play. Transparent yet luminous orange-brown varnish on a lighter background which is preserved in very fine condition and accentuates the deep flames of the two-piece maple back. This good old German violin from the 1940's shows minor traces of use and is preserved crackfree with no repair or damage in perfect condition. It sings with a warm, powerful voice that is characteristic of Guarneri model, with radiant sweetness in the upper ranges. Like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, this violin was set up by our luthiers and is now fully set up and ready to play.
