Antiqueings decorate the instrument. The soundholes bear the characteristic Jacobus Stainer shape, and the typical arching is perfectly crafted. The two-piece maple back of this violin is made of attractive maple, and the top is made of quality medium grained spruce. The delicate scroll and the accurate quality purfling determine the nice appearance of the violin. This German Jacobus Stainer violin is perfeclty preserved and was worked over thoroughly by our luthier, to unfold its light and clear sound, that is rich in overtones, with good resonance and some sweet notes - very powerful and with an excellent response.
