Attractive antique German violin with many traces from playing.

The violin was made around 1900 years after a noble Nicolo Amati model with gently worked out arching and the typically shaped sound holes. The gentle arching of the instrument was well crafted by a skilled hand in a Markneukirchen workshop. The reddish-brown oil varnish, with patina and traces of playing, together with the flaming of the two-piece back and the medium grained spruce of the top, create a very appealing and unique antique look. We offer this good sounding German Amati violin with many playing marks, but without any damage or repairs in best condition and like all our instruments after a thorough overhaul by our luthiers in playing condition, and recommend it for its bright, clear and sweet sound.
