A very nice old French 7/8 violin. The violin was made as a good copy of Stradivarius in 1927 in the Collin-Mezin workshop. The origin is Mirecourt. Beautiful woods were used. The top wood is medium grained spruce, the two piece back is flamed maple. The spirit varnish shows signs of age and is of a warm orange-brown color with some playing marks.
