This attractive brilliant-toned Markneukirchen violin with luminous orange-brown varnish and a one-piece back was built in Saxony in the 1940's and is a piece of good Markneukirchen master craftsman tradition, made after a slim Stradivari pattern. This gorgous violin's character is determined by the luminous red-brown varnish, that shows minor traces from time, the precisely cut soundholes, elegant purfling and beautiful edgework.
