Handmade Saxon quality can be seen in the overall style, the shape of the scroll, the arching and the selection of tonewoods, and the antiqueing of of the light-brown varnish. This old Markneukirchen violin is in perfect condition, it was carefully worked-over by our experienced luthier and is offered ready to play. Its fine, precise tone is a pleasure for the player and the audience, of good strength and with beautiful resonance and interesting mature notes, but also strong and clear.
