This outstanding Markneukirchen violin reflects German quality craftsmanship down to the last detail. It is the premium model made around 1940 by Meinel & Herold in the Vogtland village of Markneukirchen and is a typical instrument of the Markneukirchen school. The violin was made with exceptional care using attractive tone woods covered with a transparent and pleasantly golden-yellow varnish. The large, precisely chiselled scroll is a testament to the artistry of the unkinown hand who created this piece. Its harmonious appearance has an interesting antique nuance due to its light patina and traces of use. This premium Meinel & Herold instrument can be warmly recommended and it is our professional violinist's recommendation; it will charm you with its large, strong and radiant sound that is matured in the lower ranges and sweet in the upper. After having been meticulously worked over and set up by our specialist this undamaged violin is offered ready to play - an instrument that projects extremely well and is easy to play. Special recommendation by violinist of major Munich orchestra.
