Antique violin bow made around 1900 with a grippy response suitable for good and virtuoso players

Interesting antique lightweight violin bow with a warm, sweet sound rich in volume - a fine handmade work from Markneukirchen, where it was made around 1900 likely in the Bausch workshop. The finely crafted head full of character and the tense, activ round stick - an good player with a direct response - made of high quality pernambuco wood show its good craftsmanship and experience. This Bausch violin bow is suitable for good and advanced players and bright/sharp sounding violins, a bow that has its balance point centered slightly inclined towards the tip. The nickel mount of the ebony frog and a slide of green-black shimmering mother-of-pearl decorate this with some optical flaws and nicks but free of damage very well preserved antique Markneukirchen violin bow, which has (like all of our bows) been made ready to play with new hair, leather and winding. Perfectly preserved without repairs and in immediate playing condition, this interesting violin bow features forgiving playing qualities and convinces with its large, voluminous, threedimensional sound which is warm, clear, and has some sweet notes.
