This outstanding German master violin bow by Edwin Lothar Herrmann with a large, bright sound was made around 1950 in Markneukirchen. The octagonal stick with good strength and tension is made of light brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is nickel silver mounted with a subtle white-green-rose shimmering pearl slide. This fine violin bow with the length of 74,8 cm is very well balanced, the perceived balance point is in the middle, slightly inclined towards the upper half, at 26,0 cm. This highly recommended Markneukirchen violin bow plays forgivingly and produces a large, warm, bright tone.
