This French violin bow is a simple quality piece made in Mirecourt around 1940 in the Marc Laberte workshop, and features outstanding playing qualities at the price. The octagonal bow stick is highly active, it was made of brasil wood of quality and this features soft and fluid playing activity. The stick is of good reactive strength. The ebony frog is nickel mounted with Pearl eye and metal adjuster. The weight is 60 g and this bow is very handy at play with a balance point that is located in the upper half of the stick, near the middle.
