Old and well-played simple French 1/2 violin bow, made in the 1950s in the Laberte or JTL workshops in Mirecourt. The round stick is distinctively elastic and active and crafted from fine brown brazilwood. The narrow ebony frog is nickel mounted with white pearl eye and pearl slide. This French 1/2 violin bow of rare to find quality fits well in the hand with the center of gravity felt in the lower half, is light and active and produces a bright, warm tone rich in overtones.
