This antique violin with slightly shorter neck stop is perfectly suitable for players with smaller hands - it is a quality instrument after the model of Antonius Stradivarius that was tastefully handcrafted by an unknown violin maker in Saxony in the 1900s. The flamed scroll is full of character, an impressively carved demonstration of flawless craftsmanship. The instrument features flat archings and was built of well-chosen tonewoods, the top of medium grained spruce and the two-piece back of beautifully flamed maple. The brown varnish features an interesting traces of use and appealing play of colors with some red touches. The violin unfolds its warm, dark, sweet sound, with the best playing properties, ready to play after a complete and meticulous work-over by our luthiers.
