This good Markneukirchen violin is an originally labeled instrument made by Albert Götz in the violin making town of Markneukirchen, where it was built 1946. It demonstrates the good standards of violins that were made in Germany in the mid 20th century, both with its visual aesthetic and its sound. An interesting detail is the strongly flamed maple of the two-piece back, that features beautiful irregularities and determines the appearance of the violin. Shining, deeply orange colored varnish underlines this individual style. This violin is crackfree and, like all old stringed instruments offered ready to play after a complete work-over by our luthiers and expresses its brilliant, dark, typical "Markneukirchen voice" with excellent resonance.
