This good sounding modern German violin is a good fullsized manufactured student instrument, handmade around 1970 in Germany. The origin likely in the southern German region of Bubenreuth. The tonewoods and materials are of quality and sound. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of mildly flamed maple. The glossy varnish is of an orange-brown color with moderate wear and signs from playing - obviously the violin has been well played. The violin has received a rofessional workover witj new strings and is in playing condition. The sound is bright, clear, open, a useful student instrument for orchestral use.
