A real eyecatcher, the dark bordeaux-red colored oil varnish of this elegant Stradivarius model has darkened over time. The regular flames of the medium arched two-piece maple back are especially attractive. Neatly carved soundholes in the characteristic style of Stradivari and the precisely cut scroll aver the quality standard of this early 20th century instrument. As a high quality instrument from the Vogtland region, most likely made by C. A. Wunderlich in Markneukirchen-Siebenbrunn, the instrument is in excellent crackfree condition and ready to play. This good violin features a very strong and dominant sound; bright, powerful and rich in overtones. It is suitable for orchestral use and recommended for advanced, demanding players.
