A very nice old French 7/8 violin. The violin was made as a good copy of Stradivarius around 1930. The origin is Mirecourt. Beautiful woods were used. The top wood is medium grained spruce, the two piece back is flamed maple. The soft and rich oil-based varnish is of a warm orange-brown color with few playing marks.
